KDL Cycling group Day 3 Group cycling up another hill Another goal achieved

With some incredibly tired participants the energy for Day 3 was an inspiration all on it's own. We said cheers to Len Harris along with Tashy and Stevie Horwitz this morning. Tashy and Steve have been sensational on Day 1 and 2.

Today Griffins was the challenge, this is a Hill like no other. It seems to never end and is sadistically preceeded by 2 or 3 smaller up hills with some relieving downhills. With close on 350km's under their belts every rider in this group 'wanted' Griffins. This almost seemed like the right to passage for the tour. Every single cyclist on this tour conquered this hill with the consistent guts that has personified this 2015 cycle tour.

As the Head of Sport for this amazing school I am left in awe of the children who simply did not give up and continued to reach their own goals motivated and nurtured by their parent or another adult - amazing to see - It does not exist in any other sport like in this one.

We had our first little crash literally 1.3km's from the final stop, Midmar nature reserve. Brad Blechman has officially the "Hall of Fame" falling to the ground and grazing himself - our tremendous Medical staff were onto this in a jiffy and Brad was wrapped up and ready to roll again.

This tour has concluded for 2015 but the memories and experiences will take us all forward forever. Each person here is extremely grateful for being part of this tour and we cannot wait for 2016 - BIGGER AND BETTER!!!

2016 beckons.....
